IT-controlled and state-of-the-art parking technology

Since the beginning of 2012, we have been responsible for the technical operations of car parks at Düsseldorf Airport.

We ensure that entrance and exit systems, automated pay stations, parking space counting and video surveillance function smoothly for this parking spaces. We also design and operate the web-based parking reservation system and the external parking and traffic management system.

We provide the data centre infrastructure, including hosting, maintenance and care, for all necessary parking related applications. New functionalities, such as analysis and simulation tools, make it possible for the airport to improve how it evaluates data and controls parking operations.

All systems are fully networked and have the primary goal to constantly optimise the length of stay and the itinerary of customers and guests at the airport in terms of efficiency and convenience.

However, this is not something we are satisfied with – we are pushing technical innovations ahead, e.g. for greater energy efficiency or accessibility, and forward-looking technologies, such as contactless access for parking customers, together with our partner Scheidt & Bachmann.
