Originating from the IT division of Düsseldorf Airport, SITA Airport IT is today one of the leading IT specialists for security-critical areas. With professional technology and future-proof IT, we ensure maximum security and availability. Our customers include airports, airlines, ports and shipping companies as well as public authorities and over 250 large medium-sized companies worldwide who benefit from our know-how on a daily basis. We are able to quickly and flexibly design individual IT solutions based on our core competencies.

History

SITA Airport IT GmbH was created in 2005 through the partial spin-off of the IT department of Düsseldorf Airport (DUS). SITA - as the world's leading provider in the field of IT & communication in air traffic - took over shares in the new company in order to contribute its many years of expertise to the fields of activity. Together with SITA, Düsseldorf Airport has been a shareholder of SITA Airport IT GmbH ever since.

PARKITA

With PARKITA, SITA Airport IT created its own umbrella brand in mid-2023 for the marketing of parking spaces, particularly in the PSD BANK DOME multi-storey car park. Located just a few minutes from DUS and directly at the PSD BANK DOME event venue, PARKITA offers both holidaymaker and event parking. SITA Airport IT has been responsible for operating the PSD Bank Dome multi-storey car park since 2013.
